- Sean Cassella
- Class of 1991
- A multi-talented student athlete who played on the Soccer and Lacrosse teams
- Member of the 1991 Championship boys soccer team
- Laura Engle
- Class of 1985
- A dominant scorer, netting 50 goals in two seasons (1983-1984)
- Named to the All-American Soccer team in 1984
- Honored as a NYS Select team member in 1984
- Selected to the All-Area First Team twice
- Three-year member of the Empire State Team
- Also competed on the Varsity Volleyball, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track teams
- David Haver
- Class of 1989
- Varsity Basketball, Football, and Baseball Player
- MVP of Section 2 Basketball Tournament
- Team captain and one of the all time leading scorers in Shen basketball history, averaging over 25 points in1988-89 and in the top 10 in career scoring and assists of all time at Shen
- Times Union, Gazette, and Suburban Council 1st team all star
- Troy Record Player of the Year
- Quarterback on Shen Football team
- Slade Jones
- Class of 1995
- Member of the 1991 National Championship team
- The only player in Shen history to compete in four consecutive Class A State Championships
- Four consecutive sectional titles
- Four consecutive regional titles
- Three consecutive state championships
- 1994 NYS State Championship MVP
- Two-time All-Section selection
- Back-to-back scoring champion
- First African American athlete inducted into the Shenendehowa Athletic Hall of Fame as an individual athlete
- Wendy Longo-Sullivan
- Class of 1982
- A dominant three-sport athlete in Field Hockey, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track
- Captain of all three teams
- Served as President of the Girls Varsity Club and received the senior Coaches Award
- Named the Field Hockey team’s Most Honored Player
- Led Field Hockey team to become 1981 Sectional and Suburban Council Champions and State finalists
- Four-year varsity competitor in both Indoor and Outdoor Track
- Multiple sectional titles in the 300-m and 600-m races
- Earned a state medal as part of a medley relay team
- Carmen Maciariello
- Class of 1996
- Basketball Suburban Council MVP
- Basketball Times Union Co-Player of the Year
- Basketball Section 2 Championship

- Trevor MacArthur
- Class of 1994
- Played the #1 position in Tennis for four consecutive years (9th-12th grade)
- Led the Tennis team to a Section 2 Team

- Won the Section 2 Doubles Championship in 1994
- Hockey’s all-time leading scorer, 196 career points
- Hockey’s school record for career assists (128)
- Four-year varsity hockey player and co-captain
- John McCallion
- Class of 1992
- Player on the 1990 and 1991 back-to-back State Championship teams
- Captained the 1991 squad to become the #1 ranked team in the nation by USA Today
- Also excelled on the court as a starting guard for the basketball team
- David Perry
- Class of 1989
- A key member of the 1987 Football Section 2 Championship team, ranked #3 in New York State
- Named to the Saratogian Dream Team in 1988
- Selected as an All-Area Wide Receiver by both the Schenectady Gazette and the Times Union
- Led the baseball team to three consecutive Suburban Council Blue Division Championships (1987-1989)
- Served as baseball Team Captain and was named MVP his senior year
- Kathy Frederick
- A dedicated coach who retired in 2013 after a long and impactful career
- Coached multiple sports, including Freshman Soccer and Varsity Track
- Most notably served as the Head of the Varsity Gymnastics program for 25 years
- Partnered with fellow Hall of Famer Sue Runkle to build a gymnastics dynasty at Shenendehowa
- Cherished the opportunity to teach students in elementary school and later coach them as high school athletes
- Jon Weise
- Served the district for 38 years as a math teacher, Administrative Dean, and Assistant Principal
- Volunteered to help start the Shenendehowa football program in its inaugural year, 1968
- Named the first Head Freshman Football Coach in 1969, leading the team to an undefeated season
- Became the first Head JV Coach in 1970, guiding that same group to another undefeated season
- Over 18 years as the JV Head Coach, he compiled an astonishing record of 148 wins, 8 losses, and 2 ties
- His instrumental role in developing talent was foundational to building the Shenendehowa football powerhouse
- Bill Barnes
- Began his coaching journey in the early 1980s with the St. Edwards boys’ CYO travel team
- A pioneer for girls’ athletics, he was instrumental in establishing a girls’ CYO basketball team in the mid-1980s
- As head coach, he guided the girls’ team to an undefeated season, fostering a thriving program
- His legacy is defined by shaping lives, opening doors, and building community spirit through his dedication to youth sports
- Michael Treffiletti
- A foundational figure in local baseball dedicated to the Clifton Commons for over 30 years
- A legendary coach who led the first Clifton Park team to a Regional Tournament and, to the Babe Ruth World Series
- Renowned for not only building winning teams but for physically building and meticulously maintaining the very fields they played on
- His dedication was honored by the naming of the large field at Clifton Commons in his name
