Acadia School Supply List

The district recognizes the need to request that parents/students purchase or lease special, personal items due to the nature of the activity or course. Items required for a course or to prepare and complete a New York State Regents examination such as, but not limited to, graphing calculators, will be provided by the district for each student’s use where students are unable to supply their own. 

Parents are asked to purchase supplies for their own children, in accordance with the Board of Education Regulation on School Supply Guidelines 7440R. Supply lists will be standardized for grades K-8 and shall be posted here prior to the start of each school year.

2025-26

SIXTH GRADE

1 Package highlighters (package of 4-different colors)

1 Package of index cards  (3X5 lined- will be kept in advisory)

1 Package of colored pencils

1 Pencil pouch (not box)

2 Black Fine Point Sharpie Marker

2 Sets of Earbuds or headphones to use with Chromebook (REQUIRED)

1 Calculator – Texas Instrument TI30xIIs (highly recommended) 

1 Two Pocket Folder – FACS Class

Optional – wireless mouse 

Additional Team Supplies:

Team 6-1:

1  2 inch -3 Ring Binder or Zipper Binder

1  Package of 8 tab dividers

1 100 page spiral notebook (black)

1  two pocket folder with prongs (any colors)

1 Package of index cards  (3X5 lined – for a total of 2 packages)

2 Marble composition notebooks (100 sheet minimum) 

1 Package of Reinforcements (for 3-hole notebook paper)

Team 6-2:

4 pocket folders (pre-labeled: math (red), science (any design), social studies (blue), take home, any design)

1 black plastic two-pocket folder with three prongs (not pre-labeled)

1 package of 3×3 Post-It Notes

1 package Expo dry erase markers (will be kept in advisory) 

1 Marble composition notebook (Black and White, Hard Cover, 100 sheet minimum)

Additional supplies may be needed for reading and unified arts classes.

 

SEVENTH GRADE

1 Three ring binder (1.5 inches)

2 pocket folders holes for binder

1 pack pens

1 pack of notebook paper

1 pencil pouch with holes for binder

1 pack colored pencils

1 set earbuds/headphones (Chromebook compatible, recommended with mic)

Scientific calculator- (recommended) Texas Instruments TI-30Xs or TI30xIIs

EIGHTH GRADE

1 Three ring binder

4 folders with holes for binder 

1 package of loose leaf notebook paper

1 package of dry erase markers

1 package of colored pencils

1 set earbuds/headphones (Chromebook compatible, recommended with mic)

Scientific calculator- (recommended) Texas Instruments TI-30Xs or TI30xIIs

1 package of graphing paper

* Algebra Honors students will need a TI-84 Calculator
