- The Shenendehowa Central School District Art Show is on display at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library starting 5/22 until 5/28.
- Karigon hosted the Echo Dance Team for a high-energy performance filled with positive messages and lots of FUN! Our Together We Can Do It assemblies are to enhance healthy habits while engaging our students in a meaningful way and this assembly rocked our socks off!
- Karigon’s favorite bagpiper, Mr. McCarthy, graced us with the gift of music as we entered the building, creating a truly memorable atmosphere on Saint Patrick’s Day.
- Karigon 1st Graders in Mrs. Hurst’s class celebrated National Donate Life Day by wearing blue and green to raise awareness about organ donation.
- Karigon hosted the Homespun Dance Group and we had a fantastic time singing and dancing to songs from around the world.
- Karigon held its Spring Best Buddies in March and they had a wonderful time supporting the program! It was a smashing success!
- Award-winning children’s book author Maria Dismondy visited Karigon for a “Together We Can Do It!” school-wide assembly. She emphasized kindness and the practice of filling buckets as well as reading her book “Buddy the Bucket Filler.”
- Karigon 1st graders in Mrs. Lagowski’s class celebrated Dwarfism Awareness Day by wearing green and celebrating all of the things that make us unique!

Welcome to Karigon Elementary School
Karigon is one of four K-5 elementary schools located on the main campus. It is connected to Orenda Elementary School sharing a cafeteria/auditorium. It opened in 1968.

Start & Dismissal Times:
School starts at 8:05 a.m.
AM Kindergarten dismissed at 10:40 a.m.
PM Kindergarten starts at 11:40 a.m.
School is dismissed at 2:15 p.m.
Half day dismissal at 11:15 a.m.
