Chango School Supply List
The district recognizes the need to request that parents/students purchase or lease special, personal items due to the nature of the activity or course. Items required for a course or to prepare and complete a New York State Regents examination such as, but not limited to, graphing calculators, will be provided by the district for each student’s use where students are unable to supply their own.
Parents are asked to purchase supplies for their own children, in accordance with the Board of Education Regulation on School Supply Guidelines 7440R. Supply lists will be standardized for grades K-8 and shall be posted here prior to the start of each school year.
2025-26
Kindergarten
Large backpack – labeled with name (Over the summer, you will receive a bus tag which should
be attached to the outside of the backpack)
2 – strong, horizontal 2 pocket folders – labeled with name
3 – 24 count boxes of Crayola crayons
1 – 8 count package of Crayola markers
4 – large glue sticks
Last Names beginning with A-K: box of quart size ziploc bags
Last Names beginning with L-Z: box of gallon size ziploc bags
First Grade
1 – plastic folder with horizontal pockets (color of your choice)
1 – yellow plastic folder
4 – 24 count boxes of Crayola crayons
1 – Sterilite 5×8 hard pencil box
1 – Primary composition notebook with picture box and lines
6 – large glue sticks
4 – fine tip black dry-erase markers

Second Grade
5 – folders (one each: red, green, blue, yellow and one color of your choice)
1 – composition notebook
1 – pencil box/pencil pouch
1 – 12 count package of small glue sticks
1 – 12 count box of Crayola colored pencils

1 – 10 count box of fine tip markers
1 – pack of dry-erase markers (thin)

Third Grade
2 – folders (your choice of color and design)

1 – composition notebook
1 – 4 count package of fine tip dry-erase markers

Fourth Grade
6 – folders (one each: red, green, blue, yellow, black and one color of your choice)
2 – single subject spiral notebooks
1 – package of loose leaf paper (wide ruled)
1 – zippered pouch or spacemaker for pencil/pen storage
1 – 12 count box of colored pencils
1 – 4 count package of broad tip highlighters
2 – black fine point Sharpie markers
Earbuds or headphones of your choice (not wireless) in a bag labeled with name
Fifth Grade
1 – zippered pouch (large enough to hold supplies)
1 – 12 count box of colored pencils
1 – 12 count box of colored markers
1 – black Sharpie marker
2 – highlighters
1 – one subject spiral notebook
1 – marble composition notebook
5 – folders with holes to fit in a binder (one each: green, blue, yellow, yellow, red and one color
