The Arongen Mural Club has completed the second section of the mural showcasing the story of “Be the Architect of Your Future.”

The artists created images depicting young learners getting carried away with reading as they enter school and fostering their love of books. Next year’s group will build on to this colorful and imaginative story!

Students in Mrs. Miller’s 4th grade class and Mrs. Renzi’s 5th grade class celebrate their published works in the latest issue of Skribblers Magazine.  Congratulations to these authors and illustrators!

Arongen second graders in Mrs. Jacon’s class made ornaments to raise money to adopt two endangered animals as well as donate to local charities and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The students  learned that giving back is so important and one person (or one class community) can make a difference.

Who was Arongen’s Mystery Reader in the library on January 12 for Partners in Reading?    Mrs. Patterson’s third graders were thrilled to discover Mr. Hills was just as “wild about books” as he read Wild About Books by Judy Sierra to them. 

The Master Readers of Arongen from Mrs. Renzi’s class won the Battle of the Books and will be moving on to the round two competition in March.  More info…

Battle of the Books Teams and their 5th grade classmates were fired up for the 9th annual library reading competition on January 10, 2023.  The Master Readers of Arongen from Mrs. Renzi’s class will be moving on to the round two competition in March.  Congratulations to all the teams for their hard work and dedication!  

Arongen students from Mrs. Pozzouli’s classes  held a candy cane sale and donated the proceeds to the Shenendehowa Bountiful Backpack Program.

All 27 members of Mrs. Renzi’s 5th grade class made a donation to help restock the shelves of the Jonesville Food Pantry this holiday season. 

“We helped stuff the Arongen Turkey!” Students and staff members from Mrs. Renzi’s 5th grade class proudly display their receipts after making a financial donation to the Jonesville Food Pantry. All 27 members made a donation to help restock the shelves this holiday season.
