26 High School students win medals (1st, 2nd or 3rd place) at Capital Region History Day and 17 students (1st and 2nd place winners) will proceed to the NY State History Day Contest in Oneonta, NY in April.

On March 18, forty-seven Shenendehowa High School East students competed in Capital Region History Day at the New York State Museum in Albany, NY as part of the American Stories (honors level) course. 

Twenty-six students won medals (first, second or third place for their respective categories) and seventeen students (first and second place winners) will proceed to the New York State History Day Contest in Oneonta, NY in April. Three students also won special awards. 

We also had a winner at the Junior Level. Middle Schooler, Luen Lee, placed 1st in the Junior Exhibit category!  She will also be competing at the state level in April.
