It was a powerful Superintendent’s Conference Day here at Shen that began with words from Deputy Superintendent, Dr. Wood and Superintendent, Dr. Robinson, and a performance by the High School’s “Mostly A Cappella” group.
We then had the true privilege of hearing Dr. Manny Scott, an original Freedom Writer whose story is told in part in the hit movie, Freedom Writers, share an inspiring message about the important role that teachers, administrators, and support staff play in the lives of students.
