Administrators, counselors, psychologists, and others from across the district participated in Restorative Practices training at the Halfmoon Town Hall. Learning and interacting using circles over the course of the two days, participants learned strategies to promote relationship building and positive school climate for staff and students. The fundamental hypothesis of Restorative Practices is that people are happier, more productive and cooperative, and more likely to make positive changes when those in authority do things with them, rather than to them or for them.
