A. Bus numbers are associated with a specific bus relative to its maintenance record. Bus numbers can’t be recycled, otherwise they will cause conflict with maintenance records and corrupt our database. Bus numbers will continue to go up for quite sometime to come. And, you are correct, we don’t have 700 plus buses. We currently have 214 buses of various sizes.

Why do bus numbers keep going up when new buses are purchased? Why not just keep the same numbers as the old buses? There is no way Shen has upwards of 700 buses. What will happen once the number reaches 1000?

Why does the school even bother with trying to block all this if it only takes a min or 2 to get past it? it’s just a hassle for students to take their minute or 2 to breach it.

If there is a snow day on what is supposed to be an A day, is it skipped and the next day is B?

There should be a shuttle bus from hse to the cph library! I know many many students who have to walk because they don’t have rides. Walking takes a long time, and with the winter coming they would much rather prefer taking transportation. This would be extremely beneficial to many students!

I am sure you are bombarded with traffic concerns, but I was just wondering if Shen HS was going to get anymore traffic men. Coming out from the circle after morning drop off and making a left onto the main campus road can be so dangerous, as well as leaving the main parking lot and making a left again after school . So many near miss accidents every single day, morning and afternoon. I know the aim was to make it better, but it is so much worse. Every outlet in the am and pm needs a traffic person.

My high school child has been skipping gym class. I have spoken to her, but she continues to rebel. What is the school policy regarding skipping? I feel that she needs to be reprimanded at school as well as at home. Looking for help.
