Okte students learned that curiosity can take them anywhere from best-selling author Kate Messner. Mrs. Messner inspired kindergarten and first-grade students to giggle as she read The Scariest Kitten in the World. She inspired 2nd-3rd graders to build an original character and guided 4th -5th graders in a choose-your-own-adventure reading scenario. The excitement of reading, writing and creating was felt throughout the school.
