I saw one post where a girl was thanking Shen HS for having free sanitary woman’s products, unlike the middle schools. However, you responded with “they are free at all levels”. No, they are not free at all levels. When I got my period in the middle schools if I didn’t have a quarter or my own items with me I would either ask around for a quarter or have to break a dollar in the lunchline, which they didn’t even let me do half the time. If you’re unaware the middle school sanitary products aren’t free, please educate yourself on this information.

A. Things change. A new law, effective July 1, 2018, requires all elementary and secondary public schools in New York State that serve students in any grade from six to twelve, to provide feminine hygiene products to students in school restrooms, at no cost.
