Why do the elementary schools not follow the same policy as the middle schools regarding notifying someone of their interview status? The middle schools notify candidates either way, whether they have made it to the next round or not. The elementary schools should show the same amount of respect and professionalism to their candidates.

A.  With the number of applicants that we receive for elementary positions,  the process takes a bit longer than at the secondary level.  All candidates who were invited for a screening process are notified by the building administrator.    Candidates who participate in first and second round interviews,  will be contacted when the process is completed as they may be considered for more than one opening. We recognize that it is difficult to wait for a response and the building Principals do their best to complete the process in a timely manner.
